Daughter of Genghis is an epic journey spanning 7 years, following Gerel, a violent neo-nationalist, who runs a gang of women in the unerworld of the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar. Gerel is fighting for both motherland and motherhood. Her son Temuulen is neglected in this fight, but slowly she embraces her responsibilities as a mother while abandoning her violent path.
